This app is a great disappointment compared to On the Grill. On the Grill was a helpful aid to home chefs, this is just a commercial for Weber products.

Prefer the other app that they are sun setting. Fix the crash/lockup (yes I rebooted) and add in the features missing and Ill redo my review

Dont bother with this. The old App had a Grill Guide, which was the only thing I used. Why are they getting rid of it? If they cared about their customers more than they cared about turning a profit, they would keep the most useful aspect of the App intact.

Old On The Grill app is unsupported now so I tried this. Total UK/UX nightmare - and missing a key function like, how should I cook my food, whether to use direct/indirect heat, etc. Based on the reviews, it seems no one bothered to look at analytics on how their old app was used. App fail.

This app is alright but defiantly does not meet the expectation of weber products or cookbooks.

No timer or grill guide. Not worth it.

The pictures in the "Know your cuts" section are not for the steaks being described.

The user interface is nicer now and the very useful Grill Guide is back. But they havent brought forward the old recipes. So you still need to be sure to get your old favorites from the old Weber app printed out before that old app goes dead... which is just a few holiday-busy weeks away. ------ Previous Review ------ Theres a lot of great content here, but they did NOT bring over all of the great content from the old Weber App, especially the old recipes. The whole rubs section is just gone... a huge loss. So, before the old App quits -- which is just a few holiday-busy weeks away -- you need to print out your favorites from the old App. The nice thing about paper copies of recipes is that Weber cant arbitrarily come into your recipe box and rip them out.

I was a little concerned when I learned Webers On the Grill app would no longer be available but this update has put my concerns to rest! This new version Weber Grills has incorporated all of the deliciousness of Webers On the Grill recipes while maintaining the tips, tricks, grilling community, products information and, my favorite, Recipe of the Week. One minor tweak: some of the photos in the Latest Recipes section dont load until I tap on the recipe and the photo doesnt remain after closing the recipe and returning to the main (Latest Recipes) page. One request: please add the option to display favorites either in alphabetical order or by date saved. Overall, great job Weber! This remake is VERY well done!!!

Wow this app is awesome! The upgrade was fantastic. I love all the new features. The timer and calculator is very useful. Great navigation though the app. The recipes look amazing. Grocery list is super handy. I wish the recommend cooking temperatures were in the app with the timer.

Not so much a review as I just wanted to say its utter BD that they sold the old app for $5 and are now discontinuing it and replacing it with a new free one with less features.

WOW! The pictures are amazing. They make my mouth water and motivate me to try them all!

This upgrade is great! NOTE: I located the doneness guide, it isnt easy to find but its there and really easy to locate (once you know its there...). Go to the timer and tap on the book in the upper left corner. You will be able to choose what you want to grill and it will provide the recommended grilling times. The timer will start from there was well. Very excited about this app!

I install updates when I see reviews are at least 3 stars. Dont even get me on how old my southwest app is lol. The app has a real nice clean up feel. Love the bright cleat pictures. My only thing is, my recipes I saved are gone! I see no option to log in retrieve those.i hope the data from this one is backed up. Ill have to test that out.

New app is harder to navigate and see the icons. It went from a site that I visited and enjoyed every day. To one that I avoid now. The pictures might be dazzling with a wow factor at first, but wears off fast when you try to move around the site.

Think the app is great! Very useful. Use at least once a week.

I am glad to see the "is it done" section added to this app. While I rely on the built-in timer to get close to the desired doneness, using a thermometer and the apps temperature guide helps me get the best results. Well done, Weber Grills!

Im very pleased with this app. It is beautifully designed and offers a lot of great options and content. From classic stories about barbecuing and how-to guides to top of the line recipes. Im using it on my iPad and I have to say that this is one of the best grilling apps Ive tried. You can even easily create grocery shopping list. Would be even better if you could export them to the Wunderlist app. But thats probable too much to expect. Thanks Weber, great app.

I have a 15 year old Weber Genesis and recently purchased a Weber 22 One Touch Gold. This app is like everything else Weber produces, perfection! Great App!!

There was nothing wrong with the old app. The new one is OK (and I guess it looks better?), but why cant I transfer all my old favorite recipes to the new app? As it is, I have to do them all from scratch one by one! Thats poor design.
